Texas Real Estate Appraiser Courses Online
Begin and learn a new career, by taking the Real Estate Appraiser online course for Texas. This is a 90 hour online course to meet the qualifications
for an Texas Real Estate Appraisal License. The class training includes instructions on taking the actual exam.
It covers real estate concepts, finance, the valuation process, neighborhood analysis and much much more.
Students also learn about the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practices.

Appraisal class for Texas
Texas Appraisal License requirments:
Successfully complete 90 classroom hours of acceptable real estate appraisal related courses (with exams) which must include ALL appropriate Appraiser Qualifications Board (AQB) required topics:
40 hours (minimum) of fundamental real estate appraisal courses; 15 hours of USPAP, with exam completed within 2 years of application; May use a maximum of 35 hours of appraisal related courses including core real estate principles and real estate appraisal.
Legally acquire 2,000 hours of acceptable real estate appraisal experience. Acceptable real estate appraisal experience must: (1) comply with USPAP; (2) be verifiable, and supported by written reports or work files, (3) have been done when you had legal authority to perform real estate appraisals, and (4) be acceptable in accordance with the AQB experience criteria and Texas law and rules.
Pass the approved state licensed appraiser exam.
Pay the non-refundable application fee and federal registry fee totaling $175.00.
Satisfy the Texas Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board (TALCB) as to honesty, trustworthiness, and integrity.
Submit the completed application forms.
Appraiser Continuing Education ACE
General Certified, Residential Certified, State Licensed and Provisional Licensed real estate appraisers are required to complete a total of 28 hours of ACE, which must include 7 hours of approved USPAP, for each two-year renewal.
