The Series 7 is the FINRA (NASD) exam that needs to be passed before someone is licensed as a stockbroker to begin working for a brokerage firm trading for other clients. Financial Advsiors and brokers study andbegin training for this exam which can be taken any day of the week a test center is open. Stockbrokers must be registered before they can take this exam, but they can begin training.

This is the stockbroker exam that is required. Other licenses such as the Series 63 should be considered as well.

Exam Questions

The test has 250 exam questions that are spread out over many topics that Stockbrokers need to learn for the Series 7 and for their careers.
