Rather, it highlights the characteristics typical of personal umbrella forms in general, and it mentions many of the variations that appear in different policies.

Specifically, the online course provides an overview of personal umbrella liability insurance, illustrates various ways of looking at the consumer needs that are addressed with personal umbrella insurance and explains why an umbrella is usually the best way to meet those needs, and examines the structure of the personal umbrella policy and the specific coverages available. The course also provides an overview of the personal umbrella market including underwriting, pricing, and selling umbrella policies.
