Top leading company with offices in Tucson Arizona and Austin Texas has immed job opening for a Design Engineer Manager in High Performance Analog Power.
The high power precision control division of our company is seeking a leader of our Tucson, AZ design engineering team. The successful candidate will be one who can lead the design team in developing innovative and performance leadership analog integrated circuits and hybrid modules in the rapidly expanding piezo, motor control, and automatic test equipment (ATE) markets. This individual will need to collaborate with other individuals within the organization and be able to seek out external inputs in order to provide the most innovative products in our strategic markets.
This job candidate will drive project execution from concept through final silicon, recruit and train new engineers, and work with internal and external customers to define, architect, and implement new products. The successful candidate must have a proven history of effective budget management, project management and schedule management, ability to effectively set project priorities, and resolve conflicts in order to provide a product on-schedule and on-budget which matches the customer/marketer's initial product vision.
The ideal candidate will have a MSEE, 3+ years of experience managing teams developing analog integrated circuits and/or hybrid modules. In addition, the candidate must have a proven history of effective leadership, a track record of schedule and budget success and ability to recruit, retain and develop top engineering talent.
A basic understanding of high power high voltage and system level understanding of motors, piezos, and/or automatic test equipment is preferred.
