Senior QA -- Senior Software QA Engineer

Responsibilities

Analyze product requirements and design specifications to create detailed test plans/test cases

Establish collaborative relationships with Product Manager(s) and Software Development Engineers to ensure success of project test phases Provide timely and meaningful test result updates to team.

Serve as subject matter expert in specialized areas of technology (Desired areas: Exchange, SharePoint, Documentum, and Windows Active Directory)

Own a set of features/functional areas/projects from requirements phase through release

Identify and isolate defects, write accurate, concise and reproducible bug reports

Designs, writes and implements testing scripts, test tools, SQL queries, and test drivers for data intensive Web-based application.

Experience/Requirements

Familiarity testing complex n-tier web-based applications

Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

Ability to work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision. Adapt quickly to new technologies.

Ability to grasp the 'big picture' and understand complex systems from end-to-end

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ability to work closely and productively with Development, Product Management and Support teams

Ability to quickly comprehend project goals/requirements, identify holes/omissions and testing challenges/impediments

5+ yrs professional hands-on QA experience

Experience creating test plans, test cases
